Hager SPD's protect electric and electronic equipment against transients, originating from lightning and switching transient sources

These transients can cause anything from the surge aging of equipment, logic failures and down time, to the complete destruction of electrical components and the entire electrical distribution system. Sure protective devices are strongly recommended in sites that are exposed to lightning, to protect sensitive and expensive electrical equipment such as TV's, washing machines, Hi-Fi's, PC's, VCR's, alarms etc...

Each site will find his surge protective device

SPDs Class 1 : For installations with a lightning rod or high risk areas.
SPDs Class 2 : For installations with risk from switching transients.
SPDs Class 2 fine protection: to protect very sensitive electronic equipment.
SPDs for telephone lines : For the protection of receiver against transient current surge vehicled by telephone lines.

Plug in cartridges Available for all discharge current capacities (65kA, 40kA, 15kA), for surge protective devices type 2. Plug in cartridges make replacement of the protection device, without need to cut off the power supply. New references A “N” for “New” has been added to the old references. For example, surge protective device SP065R becomes SPN065R.
