Hager B&R are proud to announce that the Visage, Metal Mercury and Glaze ranges of premium wiring accessories have been awarded an Australian International Design Mark.

Developed by Hager over a period of 2 years, the ranges offer innovative features and finishes not normally found in a traditionally conservative market. The ranges seamlessly integrate with Hager's home automation system and range of premiere wiring accessories (also an Australian design award winner in 2006).
Nominations for the award commenced in December 2008 and a variety of over 150 products were entered into the awards, then judged via internet by over 600 designers. From these results, 100 products were shortlisted and samples submitted to the judging panel. From these submissions, 73 finalists were determined and design award and design marks were awarded. The judging criteria included innovation, visual / emotional appeal, functionality, quality / manufacturing, human factors(ergonomics, semantics and safety) and environmental sustainability.
